CELP Course on English: It is mandatory for all students of undergraduate programs of Southeast University
For Postgraduate Programs:
1. For MBA (Regular) program: At least 6 points up to graduation ( not less than 2.50 in CGPA ).
2. For MBA (Executive) program: At least a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ work experience after graduation.
3. For MBA (Friday) program: At least a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ work experience after graduation.
4. For MBA (1 year) program: At least a 4-year BBA degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
5. For LLB (Pass): At least a Bachelor’s degree
6. For LLM Program: At least a LLB degree
7. For B Ed Program: At least a Bachelor's degree
8. For M Ed Program: At least a Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) degree
9. For MA Islamic Studies: At least a Bachelor's degree
10. For MA English: At least a BA (Hon’s) in English
11. For MDS Program : At least 6 points up to graduation
12. For LL M (2 year): At least a LLB (Pass) degree
Undergraduate & Postgraduate Programs:
NB: To remove the deficiency of students in English language and other subjects, non-credit remedial courses for English will be offered. Course fee for non-credit course of all programs is 4,000/= per course. Students taking remedial courses will be required to pay a subsidized tuition fee to be determined from time to time. Course waiver allowed. In case of major in T.A.M Tk. 5,000 will be added in Laboratory fees.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
The completed Application Form must be submitted to the Admissions Office with the following documents:
1. Admission Form on payment of Tk. 500.
2. Original with attested copies of all academic certificates/mark sheets.
3. Three copies of Passport-size Photo.
For Undergraduate programs:
1. 100% tuition waiver–GPA 5.00 (Golden GPA) in HSC excluding 4th subject
2. 70% tuition waiver – GPA 4.80 – 4.99 in HSC excluding 4th subject
3. 30% tuition waiver – GPA 4.50 – 4.79 in HSC excluding 4th subject
4. 15% tuition waiver – GPA 4.00 – 4.49 in HSC excluding 4th subject
5. Merit Scholarship based on semester final results.
Students have to pay admission fee at the time of Admission. All categories of waiver rules for undergraduate students are subject to thecondition that there was no break of study at SSC & HSC levels.
Tuition waiver is applicable at the entry level and will remain valid in the subsequent semesters if the semester result is at least A average(numbering scores 75-79).
Tuition waiver will be applicable only to original tuition fees. No waiver will be allowed in case of re-take, re-sit, improvement & internship.
Tuition waiver will be granted only on the basis of results of offered courses. If any one drops any course/s, he/she will not be allowed anytuition waiver.
Siblings and spouse will be eligible for 25% Tuition waiver.
For Postgraduate Programs:
At least 3 persons coming from any particular corporate body or institution will be treated as a special group. This group will be eligible for 10% tuition waiver.
